Waynetown, Ind - Mrs. Anna Foxworthy, 79 of Hillsboro, Ind Rt 1 died at 6:58 a.m. Saturday June 10, 1978 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, Ind. She and her husband owned and operated a farm NW of Waynetown for 40 years. She also worked as a home nurse. Mrs. Foxworthy was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, the Waynetown Pythian Sisters and the Montgomery County Senior Citizens. Born Oct 29, 1898 in Mellott, she was a daughter Ira and Effie Riley Congleton. On April 16, 1919 she married Chester Foxworthy. He preceded her in death in 1963. Survivors include a son, Richard of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Marths Shirling of Lebanon, Ind; a sister, Mrs. Victoria Ekvall of Peoria, Ill; five grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and several foster children that the couple had raised on their farm. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. J.E. McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery at Newtown, Ind. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
